KalSoft (Pvt) Ltd is delighted to launch the Professional Competence Program (PCP), intended to serve as a bridge between the industry and educational institute. Professional Competence Program (PCP) is designed to create a genuine, state of the art, learning opportunity for students from all over the universities of Pakistan.

This program is targeted to provide market a oriented practical, hands on approach to students of studying in Computer Science / information technology concentration as well as students majoring in other fields; for example, KalSoft will be reaching out to students in fields like health sciences, textile, agriculture, business, and art / design. Moreover, PCP is very flexible and will match the requirements of every university session will be scheduled according to their semester calendar. In addition, KalSoft is bringing these learning sessions for students at no cost.

PCP will comprise of several intellectual seminars; seminars encompassing counseling sessions, sessions addressing common myths, bridging gaps between Industries & Universities, providing professional Guidance, giving a “Thinking out of the Box” view to students, and adjustment of talent (Potential vs. Opportunities). Besides all these valuable learning opportunities, students from medical schools will get a chance to show their presentation skills and deliver a demo on "Fist Aid" to IT students.

PCP also consists of “PinnaKal,” a project aimed to extract new, original and ground-breaking product ideas from the young breed of computer engineers and recognize the best of the best and bring them out in the professional field. The wonderful completion of PCP phase 1 (2007) lead to the commencement of PCP (2008), PCP Phase 1 was designed to provide practical, market oriented, software development training for university students of computer science concentration, to enhance their existing knowledge, and providing them with the opportunity to increase their career growth, and help them compete with confidence for job opportunities.

Through this program, students gained practical knowledge regarding current market technologies and tools. At the end of this training, students had sound knowledge and practical hands on experience with .NET technologies as the program was targeted at creating skilled and knowledgeable IT workforce for the current IT industry of Pakistan.
