KalSoft - First Pakistani IT firm at Microsoft
EMEA Executive Partner Summit
|

KalSoft had the distinct honor of being the first Pakistani IT firm
to attend the Microsoft EMEA Executive Partner Summit 2005 that was
held in Barcelona in October, 2005. Mr. Khurram Hanif Kalia (CEO -
KalSoft) represented Pakistan at this international forum.
Kalsoft carved itself as the first premier
Microsoft partner from Pakistan by taking part in this prestigious
summit. The objective of the summit was to enable Microsoft partners
to share their vision as to what partnership with Microsoft meant to
them. Microsoft also shared its vision with its elite partners and
discussed its plans for the next 5 years. There was a strong focus on
increasing business opportunities by facilitating alliances amongst
its Partners.
From KalSoft’s perspective the summit served the
dual purpose of understanding Microsoft's vision
for the future so we can better align our products and services and
also as a relationship building and networking platform, which will
both lead to tremendously boost business and software exports
earnings for Pakistan.

Exhibition - among the world's top 3 IT Exhibitions

In September 2005, KalSoft (Pvt) Ltd. participated at GITEX 2005 held
at the Dubai World Trade Centre. KalSoft as an elite Microsoft Gold
Certified Partner was selected as one of the major companies
representing Pakistan’s software expertise at the Microsoft Pavilion,
where it showcased its “KalWorks Suite”. KalWorks Suite is a highly
customizable Information Worker Productivity solution which has been
developed for organizations looking for employee productivity
solutions to enhance effectiveness in the workplace and achieve
complete control over their processes through online management.
Representing Pakistan at the global level, it was
an excellent opportunity for KalSoft to become acquainted with a
number of potential partners to discuss the possibilities of signing
partnership agreements. This exhibition also served as a junction

award from Microsoft
|

The Pakistan Developers Conference was held at the Pearl Continental
Hotel in Karachi in June 2005. KalSoft was awarded the “BEST ISV
Partner" award on the opening ceremony of the Microsoft Pakistan
Developers Conference. Microsoft awards the "Best ISV
Partner" to its partners who demonstrate outstanding leadership
across technical innovation and excel in marketing and sales
engagement delivering consistent value added Microsoft Solutions to
customers.
PDC is a globally branded event that is designed
to enhance the skills of local software developers and bring them up
to date on Microsoft technologies. The three full days of
content-rich agenda was well suited to a diverse range of the
software developer community.

Microsoft awards CEO KalSoft (Pvt) Ltd.
|
|
Khurram Kalia (CEO- KalSoft) was awarded for his individual
performance as a part of the Microsoft 'Circle of Excellence Award'
at this year's Microsoft Summit held in Swat June 2005. This award
was presented to him in recognition for his outstanding performance,
leading the company with clear vision and judgment that has been the
essence of KalSoft’s success.
At the Summit, the chief executives of each of the
companies were brought together to discuss last year's performance
and future strategies and business development for the coming year.
This year's summit also saw the launch of the 'Circle of Excellence
Award' aimed to recognize top performers among Microsoft's valued
partners for the Fiscal Year 2005. KalSoft received the award for the
ISV category.

UBL approached KalSoft (Pvt) Ltd. for upgrading their infrastructure
with the latest Microsoft Technologies. Being the exclusive partners
for Microsoft in the region KalSoft Consulting Services with its
profound experience deployed its qualified resources for this
project. Migration was carried out from Windows NT to Windows 2003
and KalSoft also implemented Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange
at all branches of UBL. Implementation of this solution resulted in
better communication and efficiency at UBL.

Halal Financial Services (UK)
|
|
Halal Financial Services Inc, a well known UK corporation, has
outsourced its CRM development to KalSoft as a part of its technology
venture. The stance of the Halal Financial Service on technology is a
key factor for its growth in the financial sector of the US market. Amongst the many features, the solution will be a complete enterprise system
driving the call centre, branches and sales team. It will also allow
partner networks globally to use the system to access and enter
clients' details and select available products. The CRM solution is
being designed and built on state of the art Microsoft technologies
