KalSoft Sponsors the Fifth Pakistan Developer Conference

June 19, 2007 - KalSoft participated in the fifth Pakistan Developer Conference held simultaneously at Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. More than 2,500 IT professionals from all over Pakistan witnessed this mega event. Inaugurated by the Federal Minister for Information Technology Awais Ahmed Khan Lagari in Islamabad, the opening session proceedings were relayed live via video conferencing to the other two venues. KalSoft was one of the major sponsors of this event being Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and having successfully achieved Microsoft’s six competencies thus marking its excellence in the realm of the IT industry.

The Pakistan Developer Conference was a two day event which brought together professionals from various walks of life in addition to the IT industry. The sponsors had placed their stalls in an imposing manner to showcase their products and promotion material. Professionals and students from Sindh and Balochistan in particular appeared in huge numbers to gain industry's latest knowledge. The speakers representing KalSoft at the event included Naveed Bajwa a prominent lead architect at KalSoft, Wajahat Abbas and Razi Bin Rais, two veteran presenters of KalSoft, and Naveed Khan, a senior consultant at KalSoft. They presented on, Choosing the Right Technology for Integrating Systems; Enterprise Content Management using MOSS; 2007; Visual Studio Team 2005 and Business Data Integration with MOSS 2007 respectively. The proficiency and aptitude the KalSoft professionals showed on the occasion was an emblem of the practical experience they had in the domain of IT industry

The closing ceremony was presided over by Microsoft Country Manager Mr. Kamal Ahmed who thanked the participants and the partners companies for bringing the event to a successful conclusion. In the end Mr. Ashraf Kapadia from PSEB talked on the rapid growth of IT industry in Pakistan.
