Sohar Aluminum, a major contributor to the Aluminum Smelter initiative in Oman and the first aluminum production company in Oman , has recently awarded KalSoft, a premier IT Solutions provider with a mega project for setting up the entire IT infrastructure in its two offices; Muscat and Sohar. The company currently has more than 300 employees and is playing a pivotal role in the first ever Greenfield aluminum smelter project in the region for over 25 years.

KalSoft, the Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, with a reputation of providing break through technologies, won this project for the vast amount of experience and proficiency its consultants have in the realm of IT industry. In addition to these Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) and Internet Acceleration Manager (ISA) are also included in the current deployment program. This will facilitate Sohar Aluminum to streamline operations to serve the company’s continuously growing needs.

KalSoft’s proposed set of solutions will ensure smooth running of their systems with security, potency, ease and will enhance the overall productivity of their back-offices. The solution will ensure seamless operation of all services providing security to the entire IT infrastructure and will support business continuity of plant operations in a cost effective manner thus keeping up with the industry in automating and streamlining systems.
