Nawras Telecom implements Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007)

Microsoft Oman leveraged its partnership with KalSoft (Pvt.) Limited for implementing Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) 2007 at Nawras Telecom, a leading Omani Qatari Telecommunications Company. KalSoft (Pvt.) Limited will provide Nawras a flavor of all the main Enterprise Content Management areas of the solution to realize the full potential of the product being used and benefit from the diverse range of features for improved efficiency and productivity in the workplace.

KalSoft (Pvt.) Limited proposed the solution equipped with business-critical needs like managing content and business processes, simplifying searches, sharing information across boundaries, and enabling better informed decisions. Providing a solution with unified integrated platform to optimize efficiency, content, processes, and business applications interactions was the key element as opposed to the reliance on separate fragmented systems. Microsoft Oman engaged KalSoft (Pvt.) Limited due to the sound expertise of its consultants on SPS implementation.

MOSS 2007 is the next generation of Microsoft SharePoint 2003 and Microsoft Content Management System (CMS) 2002, built on top of Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services (WSS) V3 and taking advantages of all the core services WSS already offers. It is an extensible collaboration platform with new and extensive features and solutions for Enterprise Content Management (ECM), portal creation, enterprise search, forms and Business Intelligence (BI).
