KalSoft attains stature of being the first IT company to acquire concessionary credit facility

KalSoft is the first Pakistani IT companies to avail concessionary credit facility from M/s Soneri Bank Limited under Part-II of the Export Finance Scheme of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) followed by other IT companies / software houses. This credit facility by SBP promotes IT exports and leverage on low cost credit financing scheme.

Export Finance Scheme (EFS), a lucrative financing scheme for exporters, introduced by State Bank of Pakistan and subsequently offered by scheduled banks, will allow IT Services Exporters including software houses, call centers, software services and IT enabled services companies who are registered with the SBP to avail low cost credit facility in order to finance project mobilization, fund business expansion, and generally improve cash flows.

PSEB has declared it as a major breakthrough in the IT Industry of Pakistan. The EFS scheme will not only encourage and enhance IT exports from Pakistan but will also cater to various financial issues faced by services companies.
