KalSoft (Pvt) Ltd. becomes Pakistan's First CMMI Level 3 Appraised IT Solution Provider

KalSoft (Pvt.) Ltd. a Premier Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and leading Enterprise IT Solution Provider from Pakistan was appraised successfully for CMMI®-SW, Maturity Level 3 of Software Engineering Institute's (SEI), Carnegie Mellon University, USA. KalSoft is the FIRST Pakistani Software Company that has the unique distinction to have achieved the coveted and competitive CMMI®-SW Maturity Level 3 rating. The Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI), Class 'A' appraisal method was conducted and software development and maintenance activities were found to be in accordance to the laid down processes. This achievement will tremendously boost Pakistan's image in global IT arena.

Being awarded CMMI®-SW, Maturity level 3, (an enhanced version of the CMM), is the result of the continuous investments KalSoft has made for enhancing the quality of the IT services and solutions it delivers to its clients and customers both in Pakistan and abroad.

Ltd., IT Solution Services, Karachi has been appraised at CMMI®-SW, Ver. 1.1, Maturity Level 3, Staged Representation, by Trimentus Technologies, SEI Authorized Partner for SCAMPI Appraisal Services. The latest SCAMPI (Standard CMM Based Appraisal Method for Process Improvement), Ver. 1.1, Class A appraisal method including recent revisions was used as prescribed by SEI and carried out from 20th - 25th Feb, 2006 onsite.
