Exchange Server 2003 Events

KalSoft in collaboration with Microsoft hosted two events for the promotion of Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. The events titled as “Best of exchange Server 2003” were held on the 23rd and 31st of August at Karachi Pearl Continental Hotel and Lahore Pearl Continental Hotel respectively.

Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, the Microsoft messaging and collaboration server is a software that enables users to send and receive electronic mails and also supports other forms of interactive communication through computer networks. Designed to operate with a software client application such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 also functions well with Outlook Express and other e-mail client applications. Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 offers easy administration, support, and reliability.

The main purpose of the event was the promotion of Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. An overview of Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 was presented by Mr. Abid Qaimkhani (Lead infrastructure consultant – Kalsoft) who also presented the demo of the Exchange server. Mr. Zafar ul Islam from Microsoft presented the overview of Exchange Server 2003 at the Lahore event. Mr. Ali Junejo (Manager Business development – Kalsoft) presented a case study to highlight the benefits and strengths of Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. On behalf of Microsoft, Mr. Asim Haq (Enterprise Account Manager – Microsoft) and Mr. Mohammad Halawa (Partner Technology Specialist – Microsoft South Gulf) from Dubai presented an overview of Microsoft products and security features.

The audience comprised of top technical staff from major Pakistani Corporations and Senior Microsoft personnel from Dubai. The whole event was an interactive session where all presenters answered queries of the audience members. The audiences were also asked questions during presentations and were given prizes in order to keep the event lively. All attendees received gift hampers (courtesy of KalSoft and Microsoft).

Both events were very successful and met their objectives. The feedback received from the audience was also very positive. KalSoft and Microsoft enjoy a strong relationship that has strengthened over time. KalSoft has acquired five major competencies of Microsoft.
