KalSoft (Pvt) Ltd. participates in an Exhibition/Seminar organized by Computer Society of Pakistan (CSP)

KalSoft (Pvt) Ltd. recently participated in an Exhibition/Seminar on ‘Technological Innovations in the Financial Sector Industry organized by Computer Society of Pakistan (CSP) jointly with IT Department, Government of Sindh, Pakistan Software Houses Association (PASHA), NCR Pakistan, Wincor Nixdorf and Total Communication Pakistan on 26th July 2003 at Hotel Regent Plaza, Karachi.
It was for the first time in Pakistan, an Exhibition cum Seminar was organized on a focused and targeted sector.

KalSoft’s ‘Exchange Co. Software Solution’ is a comprehensive software solution which can automate all operations of an Exchange Company.
KalSoft (Pvt) Ltd has recently signed a contract with a major bank in Pakistan for the development of M-Banking and E-Banking Software Solution.
KalSoft plans to develop a ‘Comprehensive Banking Package’ in latest technology in collaboration with a major bank.
Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Ishrat Hussain said that ‘commercial banks had been allowed encryption by the PTCL in an attempt to make electronic banking transactions safer.’
The SBP governor urged the Sindh government to computerize the land records in the province.
Mr. Abdul Ghaffar Memon, CEO – KalSoft (Pvt) Ltd and Chairman - Computer Society of Pakistan, while speaking at the seminar, said that excellent softwares are being developed by Pakistani IT professionals and there is no doubt in the fact that we can get a good share of work in the international IT market.
Describing the efforts of CSP, he said that CSP had been established in 1972 which had first held an exhibition in 1982. The CSP carried out an information technology manpower survey in 2000. Another survey is being carried out whose results will be issued next year.
