KalSoft appointed Microsoft CPLS (Certified Partner in Learning Solutions)

Karachi: kalSoft has become a certified partner in learning solutions (CPLS) of Microsoft Corporation for southern parts of the country to ensure quality training standards for local market.

The software giant, Microsoft, made this announcement of appointing KalSoft as CPLS at the inauguration of KalSoft Academy here on Wednesday.

The chairman for Middle East and Africa of Microsoft Corporation, Emre Berkin, said that KalSoft is a very strategic and reliable partner not only for Pakistan but for others like Microsoft.

He said:” Our partnership with the KalSoft is already exceeding the boundaries of Pakistan because of its presence in Dubai Internet City, United Arab Emirates (UAE). We are particularly interested in the southern part of Pakistan because of human resources.”

He said, “Setting the standard for high training facilities will impact positively on the credibility of the certification. We believe that having quality learning solution partners in Pakistan will help us controlling this quality.”

Being a Microsoft CPLS, KalSoft has to follow rigorous requirements from Microsoft to assure that highest standards are met, he said, adding that the centre has to employ Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCT) at every site and meet extensive facility, hardware and system requirements and quarterly minimum courseware purchase requirements.

Earlier, Emre Berkin formally inaugurated the KalSoft Academy, a purpose-built facility to impart training to the corporate entities in the metropolis.

KalSoft will provide its customers with the most comprehensive and authoritative training on Microsoft products and technologies using modern tools and learning content form Microsoft, all delivered by expert training professionals.

Abdul Ghaffar Memon of KalSoft said, “Earning this competency demonstrates KalSoft’s commitment and ability to deliver high quality learning services, including skills assessment, technical training, student mentoring, and Microsoft Certified Professional exam preparation.”

Jawwad Rehman, Microsoft Country Manager in Pakistan, said: “We are very excited to introduce the modified CPLS program in Pakistan and about this partnership. I am confident that KalSoft will be able to deliver on our vision of offering quality services and solutions.”

The Microsoft awards the competency to its technology partners who have proven their ability to provide training based on Microsoft curriculum to individuals and organizations who are running their business and mission’s critical applications on the Microsoft platform.

Moreover, Jawwad Rehman categorically clarified that “we have not given certification or authority to any institute to use Microsoft name in the country.”
