Wajahat Abbas - Microsoft's MVP Award Winner in ASP.Net

Wajahat Abbas, Senior Technology Consultant at KalSoft (www.ekalsoft.com) was the proud recipient pf Microsoft's Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award for Visual Developer: ASP.Net category. Wajahat Abbas is a valuable addition to KalSoft's MVP Club.

Wajahat, who holds a BS Computer science degree from Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology, has also worked for Microsoft Consulting Services for .NET development.

His area of expertise is ASP.Net, SOA, and XML Web services. He has developed number of enterprise scale applications using C#, ASP.Net and SQL Server.

His most notable achievement as Senior Consultant, has been the successful implementation of one of the biggest Microsoft Gulf solution implementations in the telecom industry, for Nawras Telecom (http://www.nawras.com.om).

He is a Microsoft and .Net evangelist and speaks frequently at knowledge sharing sessions. At the local front he is a prominent member of speaker's bureau INETA Pakistan, and a member of INETA Pakistan Executive Committee.

Wajahat is also the founder of dotNetPakistan, which features updates about emerging .Net technologies and includes a resource center for Microsoft Technologies and Enterprise Level Solutions.
