KalSoft (Pvt) Ltd. - First Pakistani IT firm at Microsoft EMEA Executive Partner Summit

KalSoft had the distinct honor of being the first Pakistani IT firm to attend the Microsoft EMEA Executive Partner Summit 2005 that was held in Barcelona from 3rd to 4th of October, 2005. Mr. Khurram Hanif Kalia (CEO - KalSoft) represented Pakistan at this international forum.

The MS EMEA summit is organized every year and only a few top Microsoft Partners from around the world are invited to participate. This was the first time in the history of this summit that a Pakistani IT firm was recognized as a premier Microsoft Partner by being invited.

KalSoft with its sound experience and expertise of providing enterprise level IT solutions maintains a strong relationship with Microsoft, as the first Microsoft Gold Certified Partner in Pakistan. KalSoft is one of the few selected ISV’s in the world who have achieved the stringent and prestigious Gold Partner Certification from Microsoft.

Microsoft Partner Summit is the most significant and influential CEO summit for Partners in the EMEA region. The objective was to enable Microsoft partners to share their vision as to what partnership with Microsoft meant to them. Microsoft also shared its vision with its elite partners and discussed its plans for the next 5 years. There was a strong focus on increasing business opportunities by facilitating alliances amongst its Partners.

The companies from all around the world attended this summit and met key Microsoft Executives from both EMEA and USA. It is this reason the summit provided all the participants with a valuable exposure to the other partner companies. From KalSoft’s perspective it served the dual purpose of understanding the vision for the future so we can better align our products and services and also as a relationship building and networking platform, which will both lead to tremendously boost business and software exports earnings for Pakistan.
