KalSoft achieves status of a Registered Packaged Service Provider

KalSoft, now a Registered Packaged Service Provider has attained the proficiency to provide Business Value Planning Service (BVPS), SharePoint Development Planning Service (SDPS), Desktop Development Planning Service (DDPS) and Exchange Development Planning Service (EDPS) engagements.

By becoming a Packaged Service Provider, KalSoft can engage with its clients through the Microsoft Packaged Service Program. For subscribers of the Microsoft Software Assurance Benefit, KalSoft can deliver the BVPS, SDPS, DDPS and EDPS engagements.

BVPS provides a partner-delivered engagement designed to help customers identify, unlock, and capture the business value of the Office system through structured, multi-day engagements. A KalSoft pre-qualified consultant will work with customers to identify, design, and implement improvements to their existing business processes using Office system technologies to solve everyday real problems.

SDPS is a Software Assurance benefit, used to develop a customized SharePoint Portal Server deployment plan for an organization’s specific environment and to assess the overall cost for deployment of this technology.

DDPS provides customers with the fundamental analysis, business case, process and technical procedures necessary to execute a thorough desktop deployment project to maximize the return on investment from their volume licensing agreements. The service is based on the Solution Accelerator for Business Desktop Deployment and best practices from Microsoft with the objective of reducing the cost and complexity with high levels of process and automation.

EDPS is a Packaged Services Benefit designed to help guide customers through the deployment planning stages of Exchange 2007 implementation. It analyzes the customer’s organizational requirements and helps create a high-level deployment roadmap.
