Sultan Qaboos University Awards KalSoft the First SCCM 2007 project of Oman
KalSoft was recently awarded the first and the largest System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) 2007 project for Sultan Qaboos University (SQU), the largest Government University in the Sultanate of Oman. It would be the biggest (around 6000) deployment in terms of desktops.
The SCCM 2007 project would see the deployment of KalSoft’s best Microsoft Infrastructure Consultant’s to address various architectural and technical aspects of design and implementation of the proposed solution for SQU. With more than 20,000 students and a staff of above 8,000, organizational need of an effective and productive information service system was a necessity which would not only be functionally reliable but also scalable enough to support dynamic changes within the least amount of time required.
Implementation of SCCM 2007 by KalSoft shall provide SQU with a centralized solution for automated management of the university infrastructure as well as help SQU cater to its other organizational needs of efficiency and business agility. SQU will not only be able to collaborate different organizational process, but also assist them with inventory & systems management, remote application deployment, hardware/software infrastructure management, reports/statistics generation, remote network & systems management and troubleshooting, and various other activities
