TerraBiz Group organized a Business Process Management workshop on May 22, 2008 at the Sheraton in Karachi. The BMP workshop was supported by KalSoft Pvt Ltd. P@SHA, CIO Pakistan and CDC. Organized for Directors, IT Managers and Analysts, TQM Managers, Program Managers and Project Managers and Engineers, the program received strong participation from various verticals across several industries.

Mark McGregor, a world renowned writer, speaker and coach, addressed a workshop and discussed Process Mapping and Modeling. Mark emphasized on Workflow, Six Sigma, Document Management, Business Process Management, Risk Management, Business Process Re-engineering Compliance and related categories. "It's less about the technology and more about the processes you put into place. If you can work those out, then you will be clear about how technology can help you." says Mark.

It is workshops like these that prove to be beneficial for the growth and expansion of technology by forcing managers to take a look at existing processes through a more realistic and analytical approach.

KalSoft's latest product, DeXpert was launched in the beginning of the workshop. DeXpert is a business process automation suite, which analysis and optimizes business process by changing them into business needs. This business suite plays a very efficient role in enhancing the business quality of an organization.
