Client Overview
 Pakistan Petroleum Ltd Pakistan’s Premier E&P Company, the oldest and largest Exploration and Production Company in the country, was incorporated on 5th June 1950 subsequent to the promulgation of the Pakistan Petroleum Production Rules, 1949 with the main objective of conducting exploration, development and production of Pakistan’s oil and natural gas resources. PPL inherited all the assets and liabilities of the Burmah Oil Company (Pakistan Concessions) Limited and commenced business on 1st July 1952.

Problems Faced
PPL being a petroleum company required an interface that would provide an ease of deployment and a simplified setup for specific server roles and routine serve management tasks. It required a secure and protected environment where data could only be accessed by authorized personal and thus would guarantee reliability.

Implemented Solution
KalSoft deployed the Microsoft SPS 2003 to provide the concepts and features at best possible speed to PPL. This installation included Adding/Customization of Web Parts, Creating Portal & Team sites, Document Management features, Customize the layout, the navigation parts, the logo, the colors, and others, Demonstrating News/Event/Announcements setup and Concepts of Microsoft SPS reports e.g. Site Usage, Document folder usage etc
